"Shoot."

I guess it's cool to post this now. This is the short film/art piece I did for my graduating exhibition, the opening of which was last Saturday night.

If you're still planning on coming to the show (it runs 'til December 7), I'd suggest you wait until then to watch it, as the YouTube quality ain't the best.

Count Sockula hits the big time.

So I just found out that the sock-puppet I made a little while ago was featured on a puppet-building website conveniently titled PuppetBuilding.com (click for link). Pretty nifty, eh?

Chase the Chaser

Here's that music video for Something With Numbers that I got to be in. Turned out pretty rockin' I think.

Which superlative best descibes you?

You Are "Fucking Awesome"

You are smart, funny and fun to be around. You are an incredibly well-adjusted person. Most people would be happy to take a bullet for you.

Catch THIS in the Rye!

Someone gave me The Catcher in the Rye for my birthday, and I've been really enjoying it so far. Also, I felt like drawing something today. It's my take on the novel's protagonist, Holden Caufield:

Nothing spectacular.

Holden seems quite ahead of his time. He's pretty much an "emo" kid in 1950's New York.

Also, today I was in the city donating blood for the vampire children, when I finally buckled and bought Herobear and the Kid - a comic I've always seen and wanted. The book I got was a collection of the first series of Herobear comics. I can't wait to dig into it.

New hair, new BAD ATTITUDE.

New hair.

Cut my hair last night. I wanted a haircut that said "I'm a fucking hard-ass, and also slightly homosexual." I think I found the right mix.

What I didn't realise is that, along with the new "do", I would also develop a whole new attitude. Gone is the Joe who used to let you in front of me at the Bell Street/Sydney Road intersection... the Joe who would thoughtfully switch his mobile to "silent" before the movie started... the Joe who took his shoes off before having a go on the jumping castle. If you want that Joe, then you need to go to the cemetery.

Because he's DEAD.

The new Joe is BEE AY DEE - BAD - and here to stay.

Fucking check me out:

Bad Attitude

See how BAD I am? I'm like "Yo... Yo, fuck responsibility... I'm fucking BAD. What? You wanna fight about it? Didn't think so. Bitch."

I'm gonna go scuff up some jumping castles with my shoes.

P.S. The likeness to Zangeif from Street Fighter was completely unintentional.

Dinner Bun

Felt like drawing something today:

For wallpaper-sized versions:

The original file is A3 size, so I might print it out and frame it for me wall one day.
